Yes, absolutely. We've built in several designated rest spots along the path where you can catch your breath, take photographs, and simply soak in the panoramic views of the Atlantic. Think of it as part of the experience, not an interruption.

The path is mostly grassed with some sections of exposed stone – it can be uneven in places, so proper footwear (sturdy walking shoes or boots) is essential. We don't recommend it if you have mobility issues that make uneven ground difficult, but it's well-established and clearly marked. The stone fort paths themselves are ancient and worn, so they're actually quite stable underfoot.

We monitor the weather closely and will either reschedule you to a better day or offer an alternative shore-based walk if it's unsuitable for the cliff-top route. The stone fort itself is quite remote, but we can arrange for you to visit the local village before or after your walk where there are shops, cafés, and facilities. We usually build in a café stop as part of the experience – it's a lovely way to chat with other walkers and soak up some local character.
